The Goodbyes...
The day finally arrived for Jared to leave on his mission. Wednesday morning he finished packing up and then we were off to In and Out Burger before we dropped him off at the MTC. Unfortunately, Ryan couldn't make it because he had a test he couldn't make up at the same time. Anyway, I am sure most of you have heard the MTC is a lot different experience now. When the swine flu was such a problem they, changed it so you just pull up to the curb and you have a few minutes to say goodbye. However, we all liked this experience better. It is better to not drag it out I guess. Jared seemed relaxed in the car and was a happy kid as he walked away. We miss Jared really bad already, but we know he is going to be a great missionary. We are so excited for him!
